i can't believe it's monday already! i'm at work reminiscing about the lovely & relaxing time i had this weekend, drinking my orange juice from vida cafe. how clever is their packaging!
on saturday morning wayne, ernest & i went to check out a couple of second hand shops. we saw some really cool side tables, tea trolleys, office chairs, fans and cabinets. after that we went to the hardware store (wardkiss) to buy a door for our desk! with my measurements in hand we chose the best door we could find and had it cut to the perfect size. i also thought of getting a small piece of wood to act as a side table next to our bed. we only paid R200 for all of that, what a bargain :)
the door is now next to our window on two trestle legs and it looks great! we don't have a chair yet, but i'm sure we'll find a suitable one soon.
on saturday night we watched a dvd and i made some pasta for dinner. we watched waltz with bashir. it was very well done. a truly beautiful & real, yet disturbing animation.
on sunday we took a road trip down the south coast to a place called greenpoint. it's a beautiful beach with great waves and lots of rock pools! i found so many pretty shells! wayne was surfing for most of the day, and ernest got a new camera so was testing it out. after that we had burgers & tea at a little restaurant right on the beach. i really love this time of year, the weather is just perfect! ♥
