saturday: wayne and i pretty much slept the whole day! i also read my new book and organized the flat.
sunday: i made some potato salad and a four bean salad for our picnic at giba gorge! i've never been there before, there's bikes, ramps, a lovely restaurant with an amazing gift shop and a lot of kids - they were everywhere! we met our friends there who have two children:
1. skyler, age 4 - a very sharp little girl who gets away with murder! after eating two cupcakes she asked me why i brought a chocolate bar if we already had cupcakes. i said just in case. sky then asked why in case? i replied just in case we run out of energy and get a bit tired later on. she then lay down and said to me she was very tired, clever little thing!
2. noah, age 2 - very cute, very naughty and wants his mum and dad at all times. he kept putting stones in the water fountain and running away. he also loved the cupcakes!

after that we went to check out the organic shop next to the restaurant. they sell organic veggies, you can pick your own which is great, and they also sell yummy olive pastes and coffees. the south jersey pom-poms were playing on the lawn. i really like them, eva has such an amazing voice and she oozes style.
it was then time to go home. last night wayne and i went to his mum's house for some dinner. a good weekend all round!
today: i have been at work and can't wait to get home to do some more reading in bed!
