I got the loveliest surprise on monday morning!! i went along to the post office to collect a parcel that had arrived for me, i really had no idea who it was from...the post office lady brought out this beautifully wrapped parcel - i was dying with excitement! she handed it over to me and i then realized it was all the way from suomi, finland! my new friend monika sent me a birthday present! i am so happy! i love getting post, but i've never received such an amazing little package before! unfortunately i can't show it to you yet, but i'll post some pics soon i promise. thanks so much lovely monika ^_^

wayne did the first part of his conversion yesterday! up until now he has been flying a robinson 22 helicopter (2-seater), and from today he will be converting to a robinson 44 helicopter (4-seater)! i'm so proud of him! he's been waiting so long to do this and now he finally can. soon he'll be able to fly my mum and greg and me all at the same time!

on another note - i've decided to start drawing again. maybe something everyday i'll see...i think i could be good at drawing if i gave it a bash, i just need to find my style. here's the start of a drawing i did today - it's what wayne does before he goes to sleep: he studies under our bedside lamp and has a cup of rooibos tea :)
