last night we had sushi and spoke about cameras & chairs. after that wayne & ernest fixed the second hand typewriter we found a couple months back. it works perfectly now! i will have to type them a thank-you letter.
on monday my sister jess is coming up for the school holidays, she will be staying with my mum. jess is a teacher and has a whole month off due to the world cup! unfortunately i still have to work. there are 7 days to go until the opening ceremony, and everyone seems to be very excited - there are flags everywhere! on cars, people, houses, gates. you can hear vuvuzelas from miles away, and i've seen a lot of soccer jerseys for sale straight out of car boots! only in africa.
tonight i might get some more sushi. it's addictive. be careful. i hope you have a happy weekend! ♥
ps. monika phoned, she is in south africa! it was so lovely to chat to her. it's confirmed, she's real ^_^
